Something I read earlier I think. Did Aprils mum say that mark wouldnt have killed her!

I read this too. I wonder if she DID say this or again, whether the press have made it up.

What stands out to me as the obvious reason is that he is her dad. I don't know why I think this but from v early on I have!

I agree that the only reason they would of added the Perveting the course of justice charge is if the evidence he killed her is weak. I think it is all circumstancial and will be very suprised if he gets convicted of murder. I don't think she will be found alive but am not convinced it was him. In a weird kind of way it will be a very interesting trial to see how they can charge someone and possibly get a conviction without a body purely based on forensics. How can they say 100% it was him as i would imagine if the children played together there will be dna and all sorts of forensics in his car and houses. So they can prove she was there but not when IYKWIM.

I would be interested to hear anyone theorys on this.

Well he took her and then she was no longer found. Noone saw anyone else. They may have found her blood on his clothes. They may have found an article of clothing that is blood stained in his house. I would say that this kind of evidence would be damming. It doesnt 100% say he did it but its as good as!

I agree. If there was any doubt in the police's mind that he did it they would be out gathering information about others in the area at the that time last monday. They wouldn't name the guy and put pictures up of him that could ruin his life if innocent if they weren't sure. They must have found bodily fluids or a weapon he used or cadaver dogs found something. We won't know until the trial which will be at least a year away if i'm not mistaken but the police must be pretty damn sure if you ask me x

I'm a little confused. What can be achieved by coming up with theories? A few pages back everyone was convinced of this guy's guilt, because the police must have evidence which was enough to charge him. And now there are theories kicking about which seem to implicate others, when there is nothing in the news to suggest the police are considering this at all. Surely the best course of action is to be supportive of those around April and wait for justice to take its course? Is anything else not just tantamount to gossip?

I think they've found more than just her blood tbh. Don't want to say here as it could be really upsetting.

I do think he did it, I think a lot of why people are confused and things not tying up is because not a lot of information has been released, they're trying this new American way to make sure the trial isn't hampered. I think that too is why they're hitting him with the PCoJ charge - they're hitting him with everything they can. What he's being charged of is a heinous crime and (assuming he's done it) the longer he's put away for the better.

I'd be very interested in hearing Tasha and Welshcowgirls theories too.

Tasha suggested something that hadn't crossed my mind before, and while it hasnt suddenly changed my mind about how I see the facts, I am interested to hear what others think

Welshgirl I would like to know what you think as well.. And just because they are theories don't make them wrong just as because the police have arrested a man don't mean they have the right person... Al those people who got the death penalty to be found innocent later on..
