Kitty- I'm.exactly the same. I think up these nightmare scenarios and send myself to sleep in a right state. That must have been scary for you last year!! I would not have been able to sleep at all. My oh works away too and I would have had to stay somewhere else for a while! Bring the kids in with you if it makes you more at ease xx

There's alot of talk on facebook about Bridges having helped with the search on Monday night. Several people posted as soon as his picture was released they saw him etc. Police appealing for anyone who saw him to come forward.

I dont believe for a second he helped with the search on Monday night as a) they want to know his whereabouts between 5pm and 3.30pm Tuesday b) the police would of been looking for him from the start, so surely one of them would of spotted him if he was known to the police and c) he would of had to be driving with April or whatever.

Facebook gossip is annoying, yesterday some people decided a man with the initals T E was involved, they put up his name and everything, purely because he had a silver van and is around 46 Obviously people are going to discuss ideas and theories but naming names goes too far.

Facebook should be renamed Soapbox. Honestly. Some of the dumbest people are on there saying the most ridiculous crap. Trolling and making a joke out of it. I really don't know where these sort of people came from but they literally poison every page and I wish they'd just go back under their rock

I am avoiding the fb pages for that reason Jem. There are many disgusting people on there, and when you are trying to hold onto the fact there are good people out there like the volunteers then fb can make the balance of good vs bad (or even normal vs freaks) tip towards the bad and freaks end of the scale.

They weren't saying he was helping with the search as in at the leisure centre, it was more young girls had said they had bumped into him when they were searching, he said he had no car & was from another town. Stayed for a little while then went off. Nothing to say this isn't a possibility just because someone said it on facebook.

And yes, it could be complete nonsense.....but if someone had come onto this thread instead of logging onto the facebook group & written they think they saw him helping with the search, we would say call the Police. That's all thats happened on fb.

Yeah the fb pages I'm following mainly reiterate what is being said on the news. When someone said that a girl had posted saying she couldn't believe he was out searching with them, so many people were looking back through the thousands of messages to find who this girl was. Could have been an attention seeker but the point is the people spending their time trying to figure out who she was to tell the police weren't doing that because they are weirdos, but because they have listened to the police & are trying to pass every possible lead to them. I think it's really unfair to slag off what's going on facebook groups about it when 99% of people are praying for her safe return & trying to help!

EDIT: 99% of people on the 'find april' type groups. I'm sure there are some sickos on other pages etc but I don't mean that. A lot of those groups & pages are the same as this thread.

I'm a bit confused over the Bridges/Coral 'relationship' thing mentioned on here....when the police said they couldn't confirm or deny it...is this a standard response if they don't want to give something away or if they knew it wasn't the case would they say no?
