I really think this little girl is gone
Its shocked me because, i've spent time in that town/village, Mac. Its such a friendly place. Last place i would have pictured this happening.
Don't know how i feel about them letting their daughter out at that time at that age but, everyone makes mistakes and they are paying the highest price.
But if its someone she knew, which reportedly it is, he could have taken her at any point.

Police conference just reiterating Mark Bridger is being held until 5pm tomorrow. They are continuing with their searches. Asked for information on Bridger's whereabouts. Asking for volunteers help again etc.

Volunteers are welcome, public need to look in immediate environment - gardens, outhouses etc. Bridger to be interviewed again today.

Being picky but when the police were asked if they can say what Bridger is saying, the detective said they can't discuss his "account". Makes me think he's saying something!

I also think they are searching the river because of his movements, not for her body, based on how he answered the question about having info about her being in the river.

He isn't cooperating one bit. I really do not believe the police know anymore now than they did at the beginning of all this. I am however starting to entertain the possibility that he may be entirely innocent and the police due to huge media attention are keen to solve this.

Maybe wishful thinking but I keep wondering if all he's said is she's alive and challenged them to find her. Maybe I've watched too many detective programmes but I hope that's the case xx

They're speaking about the possible abduction that isn't connected. There will be "incidents" involving him, and the family and/or family he apparently has on the estate. Iykwim.

I think he's said something because they referred to his "account". Seems a strange use of words. When asked could they say if was co-operating they could have said we cannot disclose anything, IDK account makes me think hes said something or there's no account to disclose!

Thing is, any vital information and anything he has said, they will not divulge. I also disagree - it would be worse for the police to keep hold of him and keep trying to grant more time knowing he was innocent the whole time, than let him go and he's guilty. The public backlash would be immense. And of course they're keen to solve it - it's a missing 5 year old.

Yeah that's what I meant sorry. They could know anything about him, previous relationships, feuds etc but at the moment no need to disclose anything because it wouldn't make finding her easier.
