The.man arrested his child was playing with april when she vanished so there we go she did know him possibily and the police new who they were looking for if he is a convicted peadophile in the area feel so sad for the little girl

I think the Police name people too quickly sometimes, remember that young woman that died around Christmas and they arrested her Landlord that looked very eccentric but it was not him it was the neighbour- Jo Yeates. Also when Maddy McCann with that Robert the ex-pat fella.

Thing is is they can name the person that's been arrested. Just because he may not have done it does not change the fact he's been arrested on suspicion of abduction. People like that help police with their enquiries, and if found innocent, are let go. We'll soon see if it's him. I feel like this is going somewhere significant, and probably sad.

Is it wise to release his name, I mean what if he is completely innocent? Like we all know mud sticks and I'd hate for an innocent persons life to be ruined.

Im reading else where, and people are suggesting that the child said it was such and such dad but the police didnt release that because they didnt want him to know an panic causing harm to April. Makes sense to me since they seemed to of known who to look for since the beginning.

I heard that too. I believe the Police know that she isn't going to be found alive, as much as I hate to say it. They're not going to be looking for a live child along a river bank, in the dark. They'd be looking in his home or surrounding buildings etc. I just hope whoever has done this is bought to justice. I can't turn the news off at all, waiting for some sort of miracle.

I am so shocked watching it on the news she went missing half 7 last night well i have been watching the news since 7 and it has been completely dark in her town shocking!

Thermal imaging suggest that they hope/think that she is alive though Jem. I think that they are hoping that she is hidden alive some where along the river banks, like an outlet pipe or something. Dunno.
