The police get a really rough time about the things that they do wrong, but even though they havent found her yet, they do seem to of got it spot on here.

Yep. Police liasion officers would be with the parents, they would of been rung, told the immediate family and they woul of been given the chance to call close family and then it would be announced. So probably within thirty minutes of finding her, if that.
