Also have we ever found out whats true? News report im reading says her parents where still at parents evening..

April’s parents, Coral and Paul, were reportedly still at the parents’ evening when April, who was playing outside on her bicycle, disappeared.

I've been concerned for days now that they went to parents evening & left April with her 16 year old sister. Not concerned about that because that's perfectly fine but worried if it ever got out into the press there's some evil, heartless people out there who would blame the sister!

That's what I'm thinking.. what if the parents are lying to cover up for the older sibling.. So in fact April may well of been missing longer than everyone has been led to believe.

I don't think they will lie, as they have done nothing wrong. I think I read that mum had only been back 10 minutes and let April play out with her friend a bit longer as she had a great report from parents evening

It seems it was more 6:30 - 7ish April disappeared. I don't see anyone did anything wrong apart from the person that abducted her!

I dont think anyone was judging the parents, rather the opposite. I know I feel, in some strange way, protective of them.

The other stuff, I guess people are trying to make 'sense' of what has happened because there has been so much misinformation printed and spoken out via the media.

Totally agree. As I said yesterday, I honestly have been so helped by this thread because I know I am not crazy for being so affected by this, you girls are too.

Last night was the fourth time in my adult life that I slept with the television on, previously it has always been when my girls died, and it was after writing here that I had an uneasy feeling in my tummy.

I dont know why I am so affected by this little girl and the situation, I wonder if it is because my Honey would be five if she was alive, and also my Kaysie Blossom is four, so only a little younger.

I'm not trying to pull apart everything to hurt the parents.. But so much contradicts other parts, you have to, to try and make sense of it all.

We have people saying mark was a nice guy, people saying he was horrible
April was at parents evening, April was not at parents evening
Mark was at work Tuesday morning, Police are still asking for marks whereabouts Tuesday morning
April has been in his car twice before this so any DNA in the car is pretty much useless
Did mark and carol have a relationship if so how does this come into/affect the case?
They have pretty much ripped apart the whole village yet still don't to our knowledge have any idea where the body is
Was the case of trying to abduct 24hours linked if so are we/police really sure there is not another person involved....

Its much better to think about everything rather than shout Guilty/Monster or Innocent...

I still hope little April is ok somewhere and is returned to her parents

Has anyone noticed there are big discrepancies about the story of whether April's parents were at parents evening/home/time she disappeared etc? Like there's two conflicting reports here:

The first states that April, her sister and her mum arrive home and then April goes out to play. The second states that Aprils mum and dad were reportedly still at the parents evening.

Why so different? Could this be down to the press?

What's bothering me so much is, if Bridger was at the parents evening & April's parents were, and April wasn't there.................why the hell did he not snatch her when he knew her parents were out? (Unless maybe he went, saw they were there & did.....hmmm may have answered my own question...)

Edited to add: I am not IN ANY WAY showing the conflicting reports to suggest the parents have something to hide, I really don't believe that in any way shape or form!

I've just read something someone suggested on another site about how they might know she's dead but need to continue the search......bloody got me in floods of tears now, I can't standthe thought of her suffering!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Surely they can't start a murder probe without substantial evidence?

It has the whole country in bits.. I don't think they would announce that it was now a murder investigation without the grounds to back it up

I think as mothers we all feel it so much more. I think you might be right about your girls, I think we all connect with these poor parents one way or another.
My best friend has a 5 year old little girl, im so close to her and I just could not imagine anything happening to her.. They are so sweet, innocent, mischievious at that age

All these discrepancies are from the different press though not the police. The press have no doubt been picking up slight rumours and stories from locals etc.. I guess it gets a bit Chinese whispers! I think the police know the full picture and that's all that matters. They must have reasonable evidence to think he murdered her?

I really thought she would have been found by now. Did I read that they have stopped searching this evening? I wish i could give her parents a hug, they are in my thoughts constantly. It doesn't bare thinking about, what they are going through.

On a purely selfish note I really wish I hadn't let Sophie stay at my mums tonight. She would have been so upset if I hadn't let her go but I really really want to give her the biggest hug right now

Pink, yes suspended for the night. I imagine there are a few reasons for this, one is that the water will be too dark to see in and too dangerous to be near at night, two is the awful rain there tonight and three is that now the team is much smaller it is vital they rest at night in order to not be too tired and miss details.
