FMU lighter BFP than afternoon yesterday...is it? :( *UPDATE DIGI*

Hi everyone

I did my first test yesterday around 2.30pm at work. I was shocked to see a pretty good line on a FRER, as below.

I got up this morning at 6am (holding pee for about 6 hours) and was a bit disappointed to see the line was slightly lighter than yesterday!
I'm wondering if it means a chemical...I've had one before, and a MC at 9 wks.

I am on CD 26 of a 28/29 cycle usually, but not sure when I ov'd this month. I had ov pain on CD14/15, so I could be either 11 or 12dpo...

What do you think?

I didn't want to r & r but I've heard that afternoon/evening wee can sometimes be better than fmu. I hope this is the same for you. GL & test again in a day or 2.xxx

I guess it could be the difference in tests as well, maybe one is more sensitive?

I also did an IC but that was sooooo faint you really had to tilt it/squint to see it.

Really not sure what to think!

The 1 from yesterday has had more time to dry and they get darker over time! It could also be that you fmu isn't as good as as your afternoon one my 2nd of 3mu was always loads better! I wouldn't worry just yet that's still a really decent line xxx

I guess if I test in the morning tomorrow and it's not a bit darker then thats not good. I just can't help but think it will all end in disaster again!

I wouldn't worry (although easier said than done) If you can, try waiting till sunday mornin to re-test... they say same brand tests can vary as well as your wee, alot of girls get better results with smu. Your 100% so congrats xx

I just did an IC, which is almost 24 hrs since I did the FRER and there is nothing...grrr!

I thought IC were supposed to be more sensitive than FRER's. I can't help but worry. Why do we do this to ourselves...I should just wait until Sunday lol.

In the picture, the test on top looks more yellow than the one on the bottom, indicating your urine was more diluted in the second test. Also, the test on the bottom doesn't look lighter, at least not to me. This early in the game, I really wouldn't get too worried.... Those lines look really good. Good Luck!!!

The same thing happened to me with FRER then I tested in the afternoon from then on.

hi, the same thing happened with me, darker line in the evening on 14dpo than taken next day with fmu on 15dpo. That was four days ago. My temps are still high, i haven't had any bleeding so i'm staying positive

My smu is always better than fmu on fred's.

I see them as pretty equal and if there is any advice I CAN give you personally is DONT test once you see it on a digi,I just did the whole testing all the time and had a m/c and feel like crap I say what will be will be and pray you get a sticky bean xoxo

Your levels can fluctuate in the first few days so I'd try to test tomorrow FMU and it should be much darker by then....FX for you sweetie its looking quite good though

Don't worry about the ic's hun. Depending on the ones you get some just aren't that sensitive. I think both lines look great.

Well, news from me....I couldn't wait and just did a digi - Pregnant 1-2

I still can't get too excited though. I did an IC at the same time, and it is so faint its not really there! I'm hoping that as my period isn't due for another 1/2 days and that it was evening urine it might indicate good hcg levels?!

Does anyone know how sensitive the cb digi ones are?

It came up at 2 minutes and 57 seconds - talk about down to the wire lol. That was after it had been dipped for 20 secs though.

I know you are right
It's hard though. I will try! I think I might have to tell my Mum, I can't keep anything from her, and if anything goes wrong then I'd rather my family know and be able to be there for me.
