Following on from the make up thread...help!

I'm going out on friday and am wearing this dress https://www.warehouse.co.uk/linear-poppy-dress/Dresses/warehouse/fcp-product/303778

and these shoes https://www.kurtgeiger.com/online-shop/181072-miss-kg-eve (but mine are in a neutral skin tone pink/beige.

I have below shoulder length dark brown hair (with a hint of auburn) and blue eyes.

What make up would you go for? I was thinking of maybe neutral eyeshadow with a flick of black eyeliner and lots of mascara, with maybe a coral lip. But then I thought I could do my eyes in the colours of the dress and have a neutral lip (would it look a bit shit if I had my eyeshadow matching the blue and turquoise in the dress?).

HELP!

I don't like matching shoes, bag and dress to makeup and hair. Looks a bit naff IMO! I'd go for a 50s pin up look. Neutral shadows, heavy liner on upper lash, long and thick eyelashes and a heavy lip

Or go grey smokey, hint of peach to keep it warm with neutal lip?

Thanks ladies. In the end I went for just a flick of liquid eyeliner, lots of lashes and coral lips. Looked quite good if I do say so myself
