Ended up at out of hours Doc yest.
He got a rash all over his chest, back and groin.
But it's gone today
She reckoned it was viral rash.
He is still sleeping lots and less appetite
But a million times better, thanks Xx

My work rang, they sent letter today
I think they felt sorry for me
Plus I rang the Office and they said my pay will be back dated.
So I won't lose, just be delayed
Phew :-D

Oh thank goodness about the pay!!! Im glad they were able to get that fix relatively quickly hun! So sorry to hear about poor Simon. Are they saying there is anything that can be done since its a viral infection?

Thank God for the back dated check Laura! And how scary about Simon's rash on his body. His eating less and sleeping a lot definitely a sign that his body is trying to heal and get better. That usually happens with my kids when they are sick. Hopefully he starts to feel better in the next couple days and gets his appetite back. Poor baby.

Sophie woke up sick today. My other 2 girls are sick so she has whatever they have. Hopefully she won't be sick for long. She had fevers throughout the night. So hopefully that will be the worst of it. Its hard taking care of 3 sick girls!

Tomorrow my house will smell like pumpkin & pastries baking!! I'm excited! Weds my sister gets in town and the Black Friday "where to go when strategies" will be developed! I'm an early shopper, so I've only got 4 people left to buy for and wrap for...yes, I've already wrapped everything else! I just go along with Black Friday for the company (Mom, Sis, Niece...)! Oh and only 5 more sleeps until Wicked! What are you ladies doing this turkey day?

So wasn't expecting my parents & uncle this early! Luckily the hotel checked them in early and they rested before coming over. My Dad was eating the cookies as the chef was putting them on the cooling rack *slap hand* Did I mention he is diabetic he has always always had the worse sweet tooth :lollipop:

The girls are all better except for Sophie, she has been miserable.

Angel, wish I could go to your Thanksgiving, sounds delicious! I am making cauliflower mash instead of mashed potatoes. And speaking of diabetics, I am making some Paula deen green bean casserole thats suppose to be delish. I figure since I am already compromising on the mashed potatoes, I might as well go all the way with the green bean casserole! Oh and my father was a Diabetic also. But he was so stubborn with his sweet tooth, he never cared about changing. Passed away almost 8 years ago at the age of 64. This is a man who was fed coke out of a baby bottle as a baby! No wonder he was addicted to the stuff. He use to drink a six pack of coke everyday! He even experimented and tried to make coca cola candies and was just obsessed with the stuff.

You know what is a great alternative for diabetics, low carb cheesecake. I have made it before, came out pretty awesome. The kids couldn't even tell it was low carb. Thanks for the heads up on the cozy coupe Angel. Is it the one listed as $39? Is it going to be even cheaper than that?!

I'm a green bean casserole fan Jess!! Paula Dean has some amazing recipes! And how great is it the girls will eat the cauli-mash! Sorry Soph is still under the weather . And from what I've read, yes the $39 cozy coupe is going to be even cheaper! I like a good bargain---justifies the splurges (aka my love for purses & shoes)!

Glad Simon is better How crazy is it our Dad's (and Jess's) are/were diabetics. It must have been their generation's diet (my Dad is 64 now).

My dad will be 80 in March :-D
He walks lots and is doing very well thank God
Dad never drinks fizzy drinks
His downfall is baked goods :-D
He is a sucker for Apple tart and cake
Cinnamon isgreat instead of sugar
It helps stabilise blood sugar too

I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving! I made more than enough food, so we've been living off of leftovers

Black Friday was so much easier this year, no over night lines---we were in the stores at 4pm and out with 3 carts full by 8:30p (I only had one cart, my sis had the other two). Now my sis and I are über excited because today is WICKED!
