Aw cuteness angel .
Breakfast with Santa sounds fab
They r gonna test s for autism
He has a lot of traits
But it could be epilepsy and sensory problems .
They overlap a lot symptom wise.
So he may not fully outgrow it.
We will see.
When older he hopefully can use managing techniques for it.

Jess if u suspect u should push foe autism testing too hon.
The earlier the better for help xxx

Love to all xx

What's weird is that they are all about early intervention here in California but every doc I have come across just brushes of things and doesn't seem to give a damn. I am just a bit puzzled as to why both my daughters have these problems. There must be a strong genetic factor to this. I already know my dh is Aspergers and had some similar traits as a kid. Glad Simon is getting evaluated, the earlier the better. Hopefully I can get an evaluation for my Sophie too. Right now she is in that stage where everything is, "MINE!!!" She gets mad when anybody touches her toys but it's silly when we go to the park and she claims the park is, "MINE!!" and she gets mad and says the slides are hers, the swings are hers. Lol Silly girl :haha:

Cutie
How dare the kids play on her swings hee hee
S psychologist said it does hve genetic link.
They just haven't pinpointed it yet
But it does tend to run in families so it must do.
Hope docs listen to u soon.
Xxx

Yay for Christmas shopping Jess! Soph is too cute with "owning" the playground! Hopefully she still gets to enjoy herself even though the other kids are using "her" swings! Hehehe! She certainly sounds like she has a sensory disorder. You are in the right to push for testing. Crazy her doctors haven't sent you on already. Dr's here are always asking questions about development, like they don't want to miss a diagnosis! I hope you get answers! Glad Ally & Natalie are doing well. How have you been? Feeling alright? Did they ever officially give you a diagnosis (lupus?), must be frustrating!

Laura ~ The Dr's there are thorough! Whether sensory or due to autism, it'll be good for you to know.

Making dinner for friends tonight, steaks on the BBQ (chicken for me)...come on over ladies (I wish)!

We are lucky in that s stroke was obvious since birth
Once your in the system they r pretty good.
Its getting in is the issue, like jess.
The waiting lists can be huge without diagnosis.

Id love to come for ur bbq.
Would be soo nice to hve good company, good food and good weather xxx

Jess, I hope that the drs will listen you this next visit. That is super frustrating when they sluff you off and just ignore your concerns. Almost makes you feel like just a number. :( Hehe to Sophia claiming the playground. I wish I could do that with the spa! :haha:

Laura, I also hope that you get some answers as well for Simon when they do his testing. :hugs: Sending you lots of love and angels!

Angel, IM ON MY WAY!!!! :plane: heheh

Bethany, how is the job hunting going for DH? Hope you and L are well!

Lots of love to you ladies! FX that my parents make it in to town tonight (thier flight got cancelled yesterday so Im sitting here at work on a day that I should be at home with the fam... grr grumble grr lol).

Hi all xxx

The builder has said ~3-4 months :dohh: He said we can move back in at the end of April, but there will most likely be small "touch up" jobs going on.
