Tell him to use a butter knife and wedge in between them. Its how you get hamburgers apart, it should work. DONT USE A SHARP KNIFE!!

Well he let it defrost a bit, we only wanted one steak (they are huge and we split it between the two of us-or will for tonight's dinner) He eventually got it apart with the spatula, didn't use Suz's idea of the knife (I thought it would be a bit unsafe )
