Im 40 weeks & 3 days pregnant. My due date was august 26, 2010. I really hate waiting. & i have an appointment on monday , but idk if i ask to be induced already, would it happend. Cus i would have more patience to wait until the 42nd week of my pregnancy.

I don't know whether you can chose to be induced... but if I was you I would just wait. If little one isn't ready to come out, be patient I know how hard it is, I went 11 days overdue with my little madam, and I went into labour the day before I was booked to have an induction. It can be alot more painful through being induced. I personally wouldn't have liked to be induced. But if you really can't wait I guess you could talk to your midwife/gp about it at your appointment, see what your options are. You could always try sweeps first.
