Hi ladies, Im Jo, i'm brand new to this site (and loving it!) and i hope its ok to post this here. Im running a 24hour sponsored read in order to raise money for Cancer research uk as my friend has just been diagnosed with cervical cancer.
The sponsored read is on the 6th of December and children are being sponsored to read as much (or be read to if they are little) as they can over 24 hours. Half of all sponsor money they raise they get back to spend on any books they like in the Usborne catalogue. eg if your child raises £30 £15 will go to cancer research and the other £15 goes to the child in the form of books.
If you would like to take part please email me on [email protected] and I will send you sponsor forms and more details. There are currently 35 children signed up to take part and Id love to make it to 50+!!
