So I'm a good 5 weeks late on posting my birth story/announcement but I've not had chance to sit down and post anything before today, and i thought it's better late than never huh? 
My little lady was due 18/07/11 and finally arrived on the 23rd just 5 days late.
I was going to type up a birth story but it would just be long and terribly dull haha!
I was in slow labour for 2 days after being induced due to raised blood pressure and protein in my urine, my waters finally went on the 22nd at 4pm and I endured a good 18 hours of back labour which was the worse pain I have ever felt in my life. Having slipped a disc in my back a few years ago i was in absolute agony throughout labour. A failed epidural meant that i felt every bit of pain but it was all worth it as after 25 minutes of pushing my little girl Freya Mae came into the world. It wasn't the lovely natural water birth I was hoping for, but like the majority of births, it didn't go to plan!
Freya Mae Finch was born 9lb 1oz at 10.49am on 23rd July 2011 here she is at birth;

I'm absolutely over the moon and loving every minute of motherhood.
