I have a ton of breast milk in the freezer but it smells funny once defrosted. Would you feed it to your baby or dump it? Seems such a waste as I have a ton and the milk bank won't take it as I was on medication when it was pumped
Milk can take on a funny smell once frozen but still be fine to drink. Have you tasted it? If it's bad it will taste sour like cow's milk does when it goes bad. Do you freeze it right after you pump it?
Agree that it's perfectly normal. DS has no trouble drinking my soapy smelling defrosted milk, it might make my stomach turn from the smell of it but he still loves it
