GD screening

So I got my gestional diabetes test results today and they are a little elevated. I went in on Thursday and I had the initial draw and that reading was 88 (which is good) and then I drank the drink and they drew again after an hour. That result was supposed to be 140 or lower. Well mine came back at 153! Not horibbly high, but high. Now I have to do the 3 hour test!!!!!!!!!! This is my 4th baby. With my last 3, I never had an abnormal reading and I have never had to do a 3 hour test. Has anyone ever had the 3 hour test and it come back normal? BTW, my last baby was born 19 years ago. My childrens ages are 22, 20, 19 and we have 2 grandbabies ages 13 months and 6 months.
Please help as I am freaking out a little...... I haven't gained much weight. I have gained 15 lbs and prior to getting pregnant, I lost 40 lbs. Pre pregnancy I was 5' 7" and weighed 167 lbs. I feel like this baby is smaller than my others because I haven't gained a lot of weight like I did with them.

Gestational diabetes is more common in pregnant women over 35. Women of all weights sometimes get gestational diabetes.

You may be able to control it with a diet, or you may pass the 3 hour. A 40 year old friend of mine failed her one hour but passed the 3, and just followed some dietary precautions for the rest of the pregnancy.

Worst case scenario? You have it. Not the end of the world. I had gestational diabetes 7 years ago when I had my son, and have been a type 2 diabetic now for 5 years. It's a pain in the a$$ but it's manageable.
