I had a bacon sandwich for breakfast and didn't have any insulin (long story!) my level was 7.9 one hour after - so with my insulin this would have been ok!! I totally agree with the body needs warming up! I may start having a piece of fruit before i go on the school run then come home and have breakfast?

Ive also been told that it has to be over 4, was told to test before I drive, but not that it had to be over 5. oh well, not much longer now anyway til its not an issue.

Hello, I had a diabetes clinic today and I asked about driving levels! I was again told it should ideally be over 5 to drive and if it goes below 4 I should eat and wait 45mins before driving!! He also said try to avoid driving long distances

I am more worried about my levels dropping so much during the day so I can't legally drive!! Its scary!!

Mine do that too, very scary!! Several times I've had to delay driving
