I think we have Bentlee but it's been a long while, over a year probably! Congratulations on your pregnancy! Not so much longer! Lots of November babies in here. :)

Your nursery sounds gorgeous, can't wait to see pics! We thought about doing an African theme as well! Good choice!

What do you mean a crib like in the US? I wasn't aware there's a difference in them, hehe. :p

Sarah, you're a graphic designer? I see what you mean about added pressure then! I'm sure it'd turn out beautifully. :) Would you use a projector for the outline?

i really want a sleigh crib but seem to only be able to buy in the uk or us:dohh:

Aah, the sleigh cribs! I have noticed they're pretty popular in the US! The styles are quite bland here, true. I never cared all too much I guess. Our requirements for a crib were that it turns into a toddler/child bed for longer use and it has the option to connect to our bed. For that it was unreasonably expensive and going back on it I probably would have gotten one for half the price from Ikea. :p

I was going to make a stencil on butcher paper and go from there. I was thinking of keeping it one colour anyway :). Still thinking I should probably do something on my cot/wickelkommode because it's a bit plain.. (white). But then, maybe I should just get some bio (or whatever's safe) paint and make it a pretty solid colour. Like a nice light greeny blue or something! As long as my LO doesn't confuse people when they meet her (i.e.: not in boys clothes), she's allowed as much blue in her room/toys etc as I like :D
But actually it's not painted that well as it is (pinolino), so I think it could actually do with another coat...

Actually, this reminds me, I really need to paint the owls I was going to paint (on canvas) for the room...

I found the ikea ones weren't even particularly cheap :/ We got out wickelkommode and cot for 300euros, but that was a crazy deal...

oh we havent ot anything special on either wallks. Today was nice and sunny in the mroning and now it is very autmny with showers and sunshine.
I saw oh off at the airport and decided to go directly into the centre oh Hamburg, instead of going home(traffic has been really bad in the morning and my way home would have been by bus, whereas the way into the centre is by sbahn.)
I did some shopping , (some jerseys and a shirt for me, and some bodysuits and sleeping suits and winter stuff for the baby.)
Was funny when I was home it was dry, and I just wanted to put some bio rubbish(peel of a pineapple) in the bin on the terrace and it started to rain just as I opened the door :haha:.

My daughter's dressed in blue as we speak. I like the idea of painting the changing table! Greenish blue sounds nice. :)

I've just been looking around on kleinanzeigen and regular ebay for a Maxi Cosi Mura 3. Have found a few possibilities, one that was so perfect but the lady didn't want to ship it and she's in Essen so across the country from us, bummer! :(

My husband will probably take a look at the car on the weekend, YAY! Hope it's a keeper!

The sun just came out here too but it's setting so didn't see much of it like the rest of you today. :p

Ugh, I hate how no one will send stuff. Postage is so cheap, fuel isnt!
Don't worry we got a thunderstorm before :)

hm Have you looked for last years models in shops> they tend to be quite a lot cheaper too. (and the one that I have looked out for is on a reduced price by the shop too :) ) Just havent decided on the colour yet.

Only in one but didn't see it. It was in that XXXL shop. I don't really even bother in the baby section there. I mean, they sell such cute, high quality baby items but nothing's reasonably priced in my opinion. I go on Amazon for the same products for so much less. There's a Babywelt near Ikea here, which we've been to a couple times, but again overpriced. The Mura 3s go for 500 new but there's one on sale for 329,99 on Amazon. I've seen used ones going for 150 so half price would be nice and I don't mind if it's used as long as it's in decent shape of course. You're getting a Mura too?

I am getting a cybex aton 2. The online shop I looked at has it for 90 euro atm (190 with Isofix)
I have seen a 2009 model in a shop not far from here for 70 euro.

im getting a mura 3 shipped from england from a friend as our back up pram once shes a bit bigger until then we have a silver cross

That's what I thought too until I found the Mura! :p

That's the one we're going to get if we end up buying new from Amazon Whisper! Love this one too:

It's over 100 Euros more though. There's also a green and blue version. That's the one we wanted from Essen. :(

I mean a crib similar to this one: https://mybabynews.com/ProductImages/thrd_420015700586.jpg Couldn't find a better picture.

Those are our furnitures (from BabyOne): "Kinderzimmer Noah"

I don't really like the changing tables at IKEA. They are quite too small.

You are from Hamburg? I've lived there for 4 years and it's still my favorite city!

Evening all :)
Hi bentlee good to hear from you.
Kinderarzt went well, he's back up to 5kg, so still just under birthweight, but no concern..
Wuppertal is too hilly for bikes. Although DH does still ride his sometimes...
Damp here today :(
