I totally would complain to the police too, I mean seriously if they want to get work done hey bloody well should do so on saturdays or take leave but not do so at night.

Oh I am not into American sweets generally :haha: , mhh My fav chocolate is Rittersport Joghurt btw.

To be continued on that.. it'll take a lot for us to take it that far but when they continually insist on after hour home improvement and our baby's sleep quality is therefore affected then we'll certainly snap sooner.

So craving some Twizzlers right now. They're sold on that site. Think a purchase needs to be made.

York Peppermint Pattie, mmmm!!

My sister's a big fan of those! Where do they come from? They're sold in the U.S. but sound kind of England, Scottlandish?

Anyone have plans for Germany day tomorrow? :)

How about slothing? I never do anything special on the 3rd of october :haha:

""It was first produced in York, Pennsylvania, by Henry C. Kessler at his York Cone Company in 1940, for sale in the Northeastern United States, Ohio, Indiana and Florida. [1] In 1972, the York Cone Company was acquired by Peter Paul, which launched the York Peppermint Pattie nationally in 1975."" Totally american :)

DH says "we're not celebrating the reunion", grumpy bavarian!!!!!!!!
Not sure, it's our 2 year anniversary today :) so going out for dinner. Don't know about tomorrow...

well I guess phoenix is showing the same as every year, 60 times germany, always interesting or they show 100 years (1900 to 2000)

Happy 2nd anniversary Sarah! :)

Are there even fireworks tomorrow? Or does no one really celebrate it here? I can't remember anything special on this day to be honest.

Omg, that program again! My husband's seen it at least 100 times himself and we always seem to tune in at the most depressing time in recent history.

There maybe televised fireworks in the capital but apart from that no.
Last time phoenix showed it back to front, but I think I still managed somehow to switch on in the thirties
Just had a look and looks like phoenix and zdf info are showing a lot of zdf history, and ard will have a "festive act" at 12 noon.

Germany is big on fireworks for New Years, don't know if they do it much any other time!

Oh my gosh, I know! It's crazzzzy! I hate going out on New Year's Eve. Feel like I'm constantly in danger of being hit by something with the recklessness I see. :/

Omg, I know, they're CRAZY with the fireworks. I always start thinking about the freaked out animals around too :(.

oh well it is only once a year. :haha: we have awesome regional fireworks though like at the alstervergnuegen or at the hafengeburtstag in hamburg :)

Back with some diaper experience! So, don't get me wrong, still a big Babylove fan butttt.. so, we had 2 diapers left on Saturday night 1hr. before the stores closed. We were going to Real anyway so decided to be brave and try the Tip diapers. 40 for 4,99, which comes out to about 12 cents a diaper. Babyloves have 42 diapers for about 6,50 making each diaper about 16 cents. I'm speaking of the 4s (Maxis) by the way, so amount varies depending on size. Anyway, I must admit, I was skeptical of the Tip diapers. After a few day's use and a variety of wear, let's say, the Tips diapers have managed everything just fine! Overnight use, bigger jobs, no problem! If we stick with these it'll save over 1€ a pack! So, just wanted to share for those who have a Real nearby. Strangely they only start in the Midi size it seems, but that's 4-10kg anyway so baby will reach that weight quickly.

well thats good. I have a Real nearby but I hate it as it is just gigantic and you need ages to get to the things you want. I even rather having to go a couple of km more to go to a proper supermarket.

I like real! More likely to be able to get everything you want :). Midwife appointment in an hour, not entirely sure what to talk about :/

Yeah, Real's kind of like Ikea, dangerous. You come out with much more than actually needed. If you go right before closing you can easily avoid the crowds and lines. That's the trick! But then all the fruits are gone. :/

i hate real everything seems more expensive than kaufland and so much bigger ( i hate crowds)

Yes, if you don't stick with Tip or Real brand products it tends to be pricey. I've got to say, I'm not a huge Kaufland fan but I can only judge based on the two in our area we've been to. It just seems like such a dark store and not as well kept up as Real. Then again, could be down to the ones here. Cheaper, probably though.
