And the countdown begins - 99 days! :)

Totally know the feeling Sarah. The first days are so blurry to me now and seemed so slow and confusing then but when I look back I don't have an idea where they went. I have a nearly 10 month old now! And I'm really not sure if we'll have another one day so I know it's going to be double hard accepting them growing up so fast.

Poop.. before solids it's really not THAT bad. The more solids they get eating the worse it gets. We started her on solids when I was in the first trimester too.

so... BF till they're toilet trained? :P

So whats going to be the age difference between the two? We plan a fairly small gap too. Maybe 2 years (so maybe NTNP from a year). But you'know, might change our mind (or come tom our senses...)

Hehe  You'll have to take it as it comes, I know some don't give their babies much solids before a year because they refuse everything! My daughter took to it fairly easily although she has her days where not much gets eaten solid-wise.

13 months between our girls! Very excited about having them so close in age but knowing the next 2-3yrs. will be craziness. I was never on board for small age gaps, in fact I wanted a 6yr. age gap but my husband wasn't as fond of that idea. He's an only child and really wanted our daughter to have a sibling close.

I think when they're 6 yrs apart they are almost like only children!
But I loved having my brother who is close to me in age, I loved my older brothers, but when they're so much older they just don't have the same interests as you do! (he's 2 years older).

speaking of peanutbutter snacks, Do you like 'wunderbar' that one got peanutbutter and choc. too.

There is 1 year between me and my brother and 3.5 to my sister :)

Yes, as time has gone by and I've given it deeper thought I actually much prefer small age gaps and am glad we didn't wait that long. I'm hoping they'll be close and play well together but I'm sure there will be a ton of fighting as well. My sister and I are just under 3yrs. apart in age and we didn't have much of the same interests as kids. I found her annoying. Who were you closer to morri, your brother or sister? I think personalities play a role in how close siblings are as well so it's not 100% closeness in age but I think it helps since as you said Sarah, interests are similar then.

Wunderbars.. hmm, haven't heard of them. Where can I get some of these? :D

Hm You can get wunderbars at garages or any other shops that sells chocky bars really. just look out for them.

I felt comfortable with both age gaps, sure my sister was already much bigger than I was with her grown up friends and so but we were still close .

I'm still pregnant :P ! I don't think this baby will come out any time soon...
I just ate some peanut butter (just to bring up peanut butter again). Yumm!

I'm bored out of my mind, It's really bad this week, I literally have nothing to do and anything I could do I can't because of various pregnancy things.

How are you doing?

not long for you left at all :happydance: i have a thing forpnut butter atm:haha: im doing good in nesting mode i think all i want to do is clean:shrug:

Doing well other than the dizziness that still hasn't gone away. :( How long will this last? When did it go away for you, Sarah? You're nearly 39 weeks, AAH! When's your next appointment? Don't be thinking it could be too much longer now.. I thought Aurora could possibly be a 2012 baby she'd be so overdue but no no no.. at 39+3 I find out at my appointment she's coming that night! So beware of your next appointment.:haha: Are you feeling ready? Well, as ready as can be? Do you have everything she needs? What do you mean you have nothing to do?! WoW!!!!! Pandaria! Come on now. I'm already a level 90er.. that's right.:smug:

Already nesting Whisper! Do you have everything for your little one (except the stroller)? We need a few odds and ends but nothing too big. Well, the baby swing perhaps is a bigger item. Anyone else have one or getting one?

we have NOTHING for her yet wellwe do but its all in england until end of december as most the stuff we found cheeper there so m parents have brought alot for us and family have decided to buy her christmas pressies as she will be here notthat ling after:haha:

Yay for nesting!!! I wish I had energy :/

Ummm, it took a while! It kind of tapered off though, so I don't really know when it ended, I just realised at some point it had gone :O

Next appointment is on monday, so pissed that I had a 3 week gap :(. We rang this morning to say it was a bit dumb, and they said they had no appointments. Well ffs, I just want you to do my blood pressure! I AM 39 WEEKS YOU KNOW!!

I feel ready! well, as ready as I can... I'm trying not to be scared of labour. But really, It's a shit load of pain, so how can I not be???

I feel fine though, I'm sleeping a lot (everyone says im not meant to be :P). But I'm tired all the time :/

Ok so I tried to top up my account again this morning, tried 3 cards and they all seem to be blocked!! Either by my bank hating blizzard or for some stupid other reason. It's not my fault, has nothing to do with money, it's just some stupid security thing... But I have RSI so I can't play much anyway (pregnancy and normal rsi). I have a 88, but I also spent a lot of time finishing up on getting my 10 chars to 85 and 500 professions in the first couple of weeks after release :P.

I wish I had someone in england to send me stuff!! I wanted to make a trip over....

So know what you mean about baby things being cheaper outside of Germany, Whisper. It makes me sick when I look at prices for the same item in Germany vs. the U.S. RRRRR! Like her newborn-toddler rocker - Amazon new price in Germany: 80€ range
Amazon new price in US: 50$ range, so around 40€
Toys, clothes, furniture, accessories.. everything baby-related in the US is so darn cheap! And, I find there's TONS more selection too. Plus, the clothes are soooo much cuter, in my opinion. My mom sent a little package full of Halloween and Thanksgiving outfits. :D I flipped out! She's going to be a little unicorn for Halloween, eeeek! I can't wait to take her trick-or-treating! :D Well, we only have one place to go.. Oma and Opa's. They're in for a surprise!

Umm, Sarah, they should have gotten you in sooner! Yeah, I remember when I was about to be induced I couldn't stop shaking. I was SO terrified. The midwife didn't know what to do with me. I thought, gosh am I so extreme, do the average women just come in all relaxed or what?! :p Well, to make matters worse, this lady came through the hallway screaming about to fall down and I was just like. Not good for the nerves! In the end you can't change it.. it'll be painful no matter what. All you can do is look forward to when it's over because remember there IS an end in sight! :D The pain doesn't last forever.

Looks like you need to call the Blizzard hotline to get that sorted! What's RSI?

Does anyone know where I can buy a baby tub like this?:
https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2979449&cp=2255957.2273443.4392756.2256088.2256094&green
I cannot find a tub here that holds newborns up! It's so strenuous having to hold baby the whole time. Would love something like this..

Ugh, everything here is normally the US price but in euros instead of USD...

Lol, one of the midwives at the hospital said to DH that I was pretty calm, that it was obviously my first, and didn't know what I was in for!!!! O_O wow, thats helpful!!!

Repetitive stress injury, well it's that or it's carpal tunnel. Who knows :D

I havent seen that, but I've seen those things that you stick in the baby bath that holds them up somewhat. They have them at every baby shop so I guess you've seen them before.

Wow, hope your midwife said it in a semi-joking manner at least! Sheesh! I'm remembering when I asked how I'd know if it's time to come to the hospital and what exactly contractions feel like. The midwife who would have taken over for my main one if she was off, well, this is the midwife I said is on a permanent coffee high cloud nine standard.. she took me through it, like really. She actually acted it all out in front of us. She never stopped, just kept going through how a contraction is, literally. It was kind of hilarious but awkward. My husband said he wished she'd just stop, hahaha!
By the way, I didn't think calm was the norm for first timers. I was the opposite. Worried about everything! This time I think I'll be calmer although who knows. I just know epidurals are available, which helps big time! Not going to hesitate to get one this time.
Thanks for the link! That Bade-Matratze could be just what I'm looking for. Wonder if it fits in a baby tub because I wouldn't want to bend over in ours every time.
Glad to hear you're back in the World.. of Warcraft. ;) My god I'm nerdy!

wow 3 week gap? Insane. I had an appt topday again, and after it they did one for in two weeks, and another one on my due date as she knew that by next time there will probably none left.

That's exactly what I'm thinking about now, next time I go, are they going to be like... oh well we can't fit you in for two weeks... which would be... 10 days overdue...

We think it's the nurse being an idiot. I should have had an appointment this week regardless of how many other people they're seeing...

How's everyone? I have my appointment tomorrow!!
But no sign of baby yet :)
