im full of the cold iknow people hate being asked if any sign of baby so i try not to ask, any day now you will be a mummy come on little lady make an appearence

Anyone else full of snow? I didn't expect it'd stay! It's an autumn/winter wonderland over here with the leaves not even fully fallen and a nice layer of snow. It looks funny! Certainly don't see such a landscape every year so it was nice to get out for a walk in the woods and take it in.

We're doing well. Aurora's third tooth is coming through so she's been a little less herself but not too bad luckily. I have an appointment on the 5th, hopefully with ultrasound but I think so. Oh, I'm in third tri already! That went quickly!

We had a few snow sprinklings over the weekend! Except last weekend it was like 21 degrees so weird!!

i hateeeeee needles and feel like poop but the nurse said it had to be done within the next 2 weeks and that was at my last appointment so only have thisweek between today and thurs to go anyone know how to make veins more prominent? mine are a nightmare

Do they meausure the fundal heigh here? just wondering as ive not had it done yet , yet people in the uk same stage as me have it every appointment

At least it's only one blood test now! Last year it was 2 plus finger pricking. I'd rather have my blood drawn than fingers pricked!

ha havent seen any fundal height testing here, i think midwives do that but doctors have all the ultrasounds etc they don't need funal height...

Make sure you're hydrated and make a fist, it makes them stand out more!

No fundal height I think. It's actually really inaccurate. I think they normally just do ultrasounds and measure the baby that way :O

my nurses have been good with the blood drawing. worst was my dentist when I had my wisdom teeth pulled. he took 14 attempts,(i guess he just doesnt do it that often?)

I just cant handle injections in my mouth :/ makes me scared :'(

oh the injections werent in my mouth it was for my arm veins, . (ok I got injections in my mouth too, but the 14 times were for monitoring me or so...)

Ok I can handle that I used to get 40 injections of glucose in my leg every week. Sounds pretty lame though! He should practice! lol.
