Felt like today I was waiting for her to sleep or stop crying... She was just being so silly!

Well, it's just one thing after the other here. :( Aurora's got conjunctivitis along with a sore throat and ear infection. She woke up yesterday looking like she'd gotten in a fight so we thought maybe she'd been rubbing her eyes a lot and tried to think if it could possibly be an allergic reaction to something but couldn't figure out what. As the day went on the swelling and redness around her eyes lessened and we were hoping it'd go away on it's own. No.. this morning she woke up looking worse so we went to her pediatrician's and he basically diagnosed her at first sight. The poor thing. :( She's been sleeping poorly the past few nights and now we know why.

I'm doing a lot better so I've been able to take care of her easier than I expected today. Hoping things stay this way.

Are you feeling any better Whisper? I was a bit nauseous a couple nights back myself but it quickly passed.

Hope Ella's calmed down Sarah! That's no fun.

aww hope aurora feels better soon bless her little socks, not really still feeling queesey and had some cramping ended up back at the doctor today to be checked but he thinks its just pregnancy sickness and has prescribed magnesium again for the pains UTI has gone now so its not that:haha:

oh thinks are smooth here atm Hope it stays this way  I got her appt for the U3 yesterday as well which will be at the 21st.

I know! A month old is crazy!

Aww, poor baby, Saph :( That sounds nasty! I'm glad ur doing better though!

I was on magnesium for the whole pregnancy, it worked so well for my leg cramps!!

Nice Morri, we had U3 last week.

DH got all moody this morning when I made him look after her while I checked my emails. He wanted to have a shower. But FFS, for some reason it's my responsibility and he's doing me a favour when he looks after her... wtf

Happy 1 month Ella! That went fast!

Whoa, you're going to have to talk to him about that kind of behavior Sarah. You need some YOU time too, it's only fair. Babies bring a lot of tension into relationships though, it's normal. But boundaries need to be set and the earlier the better or else they'll try to get out of everything. When my husband was home for the week last week he was exhausted. He told me going to work is much easier and he has a lot of energy afterward and that with a physically demanding job. After having baby the whole day he was so tired. A lot of men just don't realize how much work taking care of a baby is and how little time having for one self can get on a person over time. I've heard many times, if you can get through the first year of your first child's life and come out somewhat happy as a couple then you've gotten through the hardest part. Just requires a ton of understanding and of course talking problems or frustrations out.

I HATE our upstairs neighbours! So rude inconsiderate.oh and did I say rude grrrr

oh are they at it again?

Oh yesterday I melted a dummy, the place stank of burnt plasticthe entire day although I was airing it too(and air a place when it is -5 outside brr...)

Thanks hun, yeah, I know. I think it's just adjusting. He's really tired from work, and atm she isnt much work, she's just time consuming! Doesnt really want to sleep anywhere, so we hold her most of the day...
I just mentioned to him that I needed time to myself too, and that I always seem to feel guilty when I give her to him, like I should get back fast. He got the message ;).

Ew, sounds yucky Morri, and DH decided to air the apartment while I was BFing this morning .

well luckily the smell has gone now. tonight and tomorrow we are going to christmas functions, lets see how she (and us) handle this :haha:

Had a small christmas function today, I was totally bored though... she slept through most of it. :P

Yikes, I know how that is Whisper. :/ What are Christmas functions?

Have you thought about getting a sterilizer morri? Most shut off automatically so no over-boiling hazard. :)

Does anyone have an idea as to where I could get these types of balloons here?
