Gift card for paying for train journeys?

I had an idea for a gift for an uncle. He travels to London a lot for exhibitions and I thought I could get him a gift voucher that he could use to buy his train tickets. Does anyone know if such a thing exists? I've Googled but not having much luck. The only other thing is I don't know of he buys regular tickets or if he uses a special rail card as he is an oap. I was hoping to find a voucher he could use to buy either.
I get the feeling there will be no such thing.

You can get network rail cards, they last a year and get 1/3rd off the cost. Not sure though if being OAP means he already gets a discount though. I'd ask at local national rail station/ticket office.
