Are you getting anything from the baby to their sibling?

If so what are you getting?

I was thinking maybe a little remote control vehicle of some kind but I'm not sure....my son will be 2years 5 months when baby is born.

Just don't want him to feel left out.

x

I'm getting an I'm the big sister t-shirt to give her at the hospital. :)

Then a week after I am taking her to the toy shop to pic out a toy for being such a great helper and wonderful big sister. :)

Ive got her 'the gruffalo' dvd, 'shopping list' game and will also give her a few new books. Notice how they will be easy to do with her whilst sitting on my bum! We will give her them for being the best big sister, probably once we get home from hospital :)

My daughter will have started big school by the time baby is born so will be busy enough with that, although....

She keeps asking for a Baby Annabell she has seen advertised on TV, I looked on Argos and there is lots of different ones, but I saw a "Care for me" one that you feed n stuff so thought that one would be a good idea, that way she can feed her baby while I feed mine :haha: she might like that? Xx

my son will be getting a thundercat figurine from his sister when shes born (hes 4 and heavily into them) and im going to try and get a teddy from him to give to her too x

Ds has got a big brother tshirt and a little toy to keep him occupied at the hospital during his visiting hour (thetes method in it lol)
I got baby a lamaze dangly toy off him too and wrapped it up for him to bring to hospital.
Xx

The baby is buying his big brother a 'Cranky the Crane' toy from Thomas to go on his train table. DS will LOVE it!

My mum took DS to Build A Bear last week and made a little monkey stuffed toy that he will bring to hospital to give to his little brother.

Can't wait for them to meet each other :cloud9:

My son will be 2 years and 4 months and I'm thinking of buying a farm set as he enjoyed playing with a friends recently, especially putting cows on the tractor's trailor!

I was not quite 2yrs when my little sis was born and my parents got me a dolly or something from "baby" and I reckon that got us off on the right foot because she was my best friend growing up and in our baby pics im all over her!

I bought my son (he was 2yrs 6nonths) a pretend baby, car seat and pushchair so he had his own baby to look after.

It was cute if I fed the baby he fed his we all went in the car together.

I found it worked well as they just want to help with the new arrival but some people might not want to buy their son a 'doll' xx

I LOVE this idea about LO having a baby she can feed while feeding yours.. that is precious! My LO is 4 and I will most definitely be doing this <3

This is my first but I love this idea! My parents got each of us kids a toy "from" our little sister when she was born and we were given them when we visited her in the hospital the first time. I was four and received a Little Mermaid Barbie-- still remember being so excited and thinking what a nice little sister she was, haha!

DS is getting a duplo lego set. He will be roughly 22 1/2 months :)

a bag of books and dvds to keep him occupied when im doing cluster feeds.

Yep - Grandparents are taking DS to buy a gift for baby before they come to the hospital (a sophie mand blankie most likely), and we'll have a gift ready from baby to DS when he gets there - probably the super squad iron man figurine (https://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=20365636) or something jake and the neverland pirates related.
