Girls with Endo............. :-) :-) :-) :-)

Hey yep just codine and paracetamol , I'm on the strongest they can give . It really just takes the edge off the pain . If I take 2 it makes me feel really drowsy and sick though. Been told to take grapefruit juice everyday to increase my cerival muscus ! Dr has told mr to try and drink 250ml a day ! Yuck yuck yuck !
Has anyone else been on decapeptyl ? Hope ur all feeling well today ?! Xx

I've been taking the same but separately. Codeine makes me go a bit funny though if I have 2.
Not been on any injections before. Was on the pill for a loooonngggg time, but been off for 2 years.
That's interesting about the grapefuit juice. Didn't realise that was actually a kind of medicated thing they could tell you to do, but I'll be trying that! lol x

We're using it for the first month shortly. Hope it works for us too! x

Oh I bought concieve plus to! This TTC malarky is not a cheap affair!! Starting taking the conception vitamens for me and the OH to!

All be worth it in the end!! :) got an appointment with Gyn on the 16th of Aug so will find out then if an opp is on the cards!

Then on tues the 17th I have a smear - need to do a test before I go for one even tho i havent had a AF since October last year!- As we havent been preventing since the last injection wore off ! I hate having to do one when I know Im gonna see a BFN! :( hope your all well!!

Lol, gem, you're sure you haven't recently become suspiciously fat?

aw sorry Gem. Hope you get somewhere at your next appt. I'm off to the docs soon to request some pain medication that actually works - :dohh:
x x CD9 today. Ov hopefully on it's way soon

Well saw a lovely lady doctor who is one of the partners. She was the first person I've seen who was actually sympathetic to my endo and ttc. She gave me tramadol to try, but I'm wary of taking it after hearing people say it makes them go funny! Will try it though if the pain's too bad. She's going to arrange for me to get an earlier appt with y gyno, rather than the Oct one he's offered me. She said if it gets too bad, I might have to go on birth control....
PMA has well and truly vanished today

Hope everyone else is ok

petitpas- I have put on the beef since this injection . But sadly its just me being a greedy comfort eater . Last injection wore off on the 19th of july( supposedly after 12 weeks ) but still getting 1 or two hot flushes! Grrr - better than 15-20 when before I got hrt !

Floofymad - tramadol was great for my pain , but I was looked and felt like id been in the pub the whole afternoon after taking it .

Tried diflofenic and that made me sick sick sick !

My friend was telling me about a pain killer she uses that starts with a K? but apparently its the same as taramdol

suppose its the better of two evils tho . either being crippled in pain . or pain reduced and feeling !

So have any of you guys had any input from a fertility specialist yet? x

Nope, after my lap in September my gyno said to ask for help if I wasn't pregnant within six months. But I was and that lasted for six months so I'm going to give it a little while before I panic. I'm going to be on heparin anyway as I already know I have a clotting problem.

Saying that, I feel the pain in my left groin almost every day now. It's not constant though so still ok. That would be something for a gyno to sort, not an FS, methinks.

What would an FS do with an endo patient? Just suggest another lap or more? (fertility meds to speed things up?)

No I haven't seen a FS yet. The gyno wanted to do a dye test while he did my lap, but it was being paid for by my insurance to find the cause of the pain, and they wouldn't have paid for that....
If we've had no luck in the next 3 months, then we'll probably have to have the basic blood tests and SA etc to check everything's working, but then as petitpas said, there's not much they can do, if it's actually the endo stopping us getting preggers. x x

I haven't seen a FS but if we have no look in 6 months I am going to the GP.

Think I might have ov early this month :( still getting neg on my opk as in no 2nd line at all and there is usually a faint one by now. I did have some pains over the weekend put them down to mild endo pain and now i am thinking it could have been ov pain. Will keep testing just incase but I think I am out before it has begun this month as there was no :sex: over the weekend for me. Fingers crossed i am wrong.

F x for you slb. That would be mega early for Ov'ing wouldn't it if you Ov'd over the wknd?....
Gem haven't tried a tramadol yet... Heard so many people saying they feel like they're as high as a kite when they take them! :dohh:
We're either in pain, or floating mid-air! :dohh:
Good luck to everyone this month.:hugs: I'm about to do my first OPK this aft.

Hi everyone
Not sure if I'm in the right place and am new to all this. Be kind!
I have endometriosis and been on the pill for many years. Been off it for a couple of months but so far no endo pains. Worried that the longer I'm off it, that it will come back! It's been nice having years of no pain.

Hey marmite, this is the right place for you by the sounds of it :hugs:
Hopefully you'll be up the duff before your endo has even realised that you have 'come alive' again lol
Here's some special baby dust for you: :dust:

Slb, maybe you are ovulating later this month? I thought I ovulated on day 12 (and have it on record for the month that I got pregnant), but this month for some reason my body decided that day 17 would be a better day. If you can, keep OH interested and keep at it!

Thanks Petit!
I have been off the pill for a couple of months and ovulated on day 19...now AF has arrived, but luckily, no pain yet! Determined to get pregnant and not let the evil endo strike.

 marmitemaisie. Welcome to the thread and good luck ttc. Sending you some :dust::dust: to get your :bfp: asap!

petit and slb - why do our bodies decide some months to suddenly move ov from one day to several days later?!...... mine's just started doing that recently. :dohh:

Yeah it would be mega early if i ov'd over the weekend so hopefully it is just going to happen late f x.
Tramadol made me woozy, I had slow release ones that you took every 12 hrs, I remember overlapping them by 2 hrs once and I started to halusinate(sp) Mind you i cant even take prescription strength co codamol anymore, I react badly feels so sick and hungover all the time and even get a stiff neck and joints with it :(

Slb, sorry you're in so much pain :hugs:

I had the luxury of a scan this month and it showed my dominant follicle wasn't big enough so I was quite pleased that ovulation took its time so my eggie had a chance to ripen.
I had irregular cycles when I was a teenager, too, so no surprise here. I would be more upset if I had superlong cycles, I think.

X x x to all us endo ladies
