Good Contract phone?

After realising me and my OH spent 30 pounds each on credit last month and still run out of credit we are thinking of getting a contract phone each, can anyone tell me some good ones? we are thinking going on 3? xx

I have a nokia N900, the cheapest ive seen it on contract is £30 a month but its an amazing phone i love it. I actually bought the phone on pay as you go and put my contract sim in. My contract is £15 a month on vodafone and i get 300 mins and unlimited texts. Ive heard bad things about 3 like you can never get a signel and that there contract deals arnt very good but i havent actually had a contract with 3 myself

I have been with 3 for 5 years and have had no problems, i upgraded last month.

I have the new sony w995 for £35 a month i get unlimited 3 to 3 calls (handy if your oh is 3 as wee) unlimited texts and 750 any network/landline mins

depends on what usage you are looking at. i would start by finding a tariff to suit you and then see what phones ar on offer coz there is no point getting a fab phone with a crap tarriff as it will cost you more in the end coz you will go over every month x

I agree with the above, find a tariff that suits you first, then a phone.

3 do not have a wide range of phones though!

I'm with Jemma, the N900 is amazing.

im on 3, i pay a tenner a month for 75 minutes and unlimited texts - i rarely fone ppl. also comes with free 3-to-3 calls which is great as oh, dad and mil are all on 3 too! came with a sony ericsson k660i

thanks everyone, ive had a look on three and might go for the 27 pound one as i phone alot and text alot but dont want to go over 30 pounds, ive got a sony erricson and want to stick to that brand as its lasted me ages they have one which is 5mp camera too which i wanted a better camera so hopefully i can get it, do you know if you have to pay by direct debit? or can they just send a bill each month? x

We are with T-Mobile. I have the Nokia N97, I pay £31.50 a Month and get Free internet, and £250 worth of "credit" a month that i can use on calls or text what ever i fancy really

well i tryed three and my credit score wasnt very good and i have to pay 150 pound deposit which i havnt got I wonder if anywhere else will let me have one, i give up i think for today though it takes so long to sort out and then they tell me that x
