The news has almost exclusively been right wing always. Paper or tv. The change was starkly obvious the day after the Tories did a deal with Murdoch that would see the BBC in jeopardy if they got in power. Lol
Totally contradictory. One minute you're saying that the news has always been right wing,. Next you're saying ther was a "change" when the Tories got in.
The BBC has, for the last 15 years, been exclusively left wing. fact. Gawd knows what it is know as I refuse to watch it.
Lol how much did you not understand what I said? The BBC has not been left wing for 15 years. If you don't even watch it then what is your evidence for saying this?
The main political correspondent is the brother of a high level Tory politician. The reporting has always been skewed to the right. What I said was that BEFORE the election the Tories made a deal with Murdoch (as evidenced by the switch to the right the Sun made). A deal with Sky naturally puts the BBC at risk as evidenced by the Culture Minister's current plans to reduce the BBC and the total monopoly Sky has over the media in the UK. The switch I mentioned was to the left. Even John Humphreys started trying to give a bit of a hard time to the Tories, something previously unheard of.
