Hi all. I was trying to give my LO Gripe water yesterday but he didn't take it. How do you manage? any tips?
Thanks :flower:

I used a syringe from the chemist, just gently squirted it into his mouth and he lapped it up! Good luck x

Yes I find syringe best. Tried spoon- very messy &sticky!!

I tried the syringe but found the only way he will take it if we put it in a bottle and just let him drink it that way.

It's hard to tell, she has terrible colic and we're waiting on test results to come back on allergy to cows milk protein, so nothing gets rid of her pain. But I do think she's been passing more wind since we started it, and that's gotta b a good thing!!! ;) good luck with it...

yeah it helps our LO, calms him right down :happydance:

I hope it will help... we are desperate for some sleep

How did you get the test done? I mentioned colic and reflux to the GP and was told it's "normal".

We used to put it in her bottle because she wouldn't take it any other way xx

we put it in a seperate bottle to her milk, gripe first, then milk xx

I have a little 2oz bottle, and used to put it in that before her milk. Only did it for a day thou as it didn't agree with Freya - she's like her Daddy and seems to have a sensitive little tum! x

I tried a spoon, very messy! It was easiest to put it into a bottle

I tried the bottle and it worked... Now he seem to sleep so peaceful... Hope he is ok

I put it in the bottle with the formula didn't do anything for LO unfortunately neither did Infacol. Have now changed to dr browns bottles and he's soooo much better.

I also changed to dr browns bottles and my LO is like a diff baby, so chilled and sleeps fab. Changed bottles when he was 2 weeks old as HV said he had colic and nothing was helping. The bottles are amazing. He brings wind up really well now and only gets trapped wind about once a week if that, I then give him gripe water in a bottle and it works too :)

i put in my lo bottle after a few days his gripe pain goes.

We use a syringe, as we have had medication for her so just use one of them and it's easier.
