Gro Clock Question

Gro Clock, we have introduced a gro clock since a week of early wakings with LO.

We had the clock almost two weeks now, LO is 27 months but I think she little young to completely understand.

Also I set the clock to 6.30, but on work mornings I get up at 6.15, so this morning she was awake at 6.10, I went in & she said ‘I no stay in bed till sun comes up’ I couldn’t tell her to stay there because I was getting up for work then anyway!

How do others deal with this situation?

We don't go in until the sun is up. If we need to get him up when we do, we set the time we want him up.

How do you make him stay? Ignore him?

He just stays there and shouts when the sun is up. He has a few toys and books in his bedroom and happily plays quietly in his room until the sun is out.
