Last night I saw a pink dragonfly on my hallway carpet which wasnt really there! Anyone else had hallucinations during pregnancy?

I think it might be cos im so exhausted but it was a bit strange

Only auditory hallucinations... I kept hearing taps turning on and off and doors opening and closing but it was all in my head lol! Very bizzare!

Only auditory for me as well. I usually get them when I get sleep paralysis, but this time I was just waking up and could move around. I heard all these voices as if there's a conversation in the hall but knew they weren't real. Creepy though!

just popping in from 2nd tri, wow thats so creepy! that would really scare me x

I saw a huge spider hallucination in my bed when i was around 5 weeks, i put it down to exhaustion as i have had similar before years ago when i had been awake for 2 nights with insomnia, i saw huge grasshoppers everywhere.Very creepy! But i read that when the body is exhausted and the eyes and brain are so exhausted, the easiest image to be produced is insects or spider type creatures. So wierd, and why does it have to be something creepy and not nice fluffy bunnys lol.

Weird that would totally freak me out i have to say, ive not had any hallucinations but i do keep having horrible dreams :(

Thanks guys , makes me feel slightly better!

I'm 13 weeks now. Lately I've been hearing my name being whispered but nobody was there. I assumed I was having auditory hallucinations but my niece heard it to the last time. Now I'm just freaked out!

Sounds like exaustion or sleep deprivation to me hun ! Im not pregnant now but i have lots of stuff like that when my insomnia kicks in ! If you can try and take short naps it makes a huge differentce for me hope it helps you :hugs:

I wake up most nights screaming that there are spiders in the bedroom (am actually petrified of them!!!) but this was going on long before I got pregnant! I was put on sleeping pills because of it because as it turned out my brain wasn't shutting off when I was sleeping so when I thought I'd had a good 8 to 9 hours sleep I'd probably only had about 4 to 5 what with my mind working so actively!
I still see things now but since being pregnant they've being butterflies rather than spiders! A lot nicer to see I thought!
x

I woke up and saw a little girl standing near the bed

I freaked out it was sooo scary!
