Has anyone tried the water on evap test?

Hey ladies .. this basically makes me sound crazy but I am wondering if anyone else had tried this and come out of it with a good result?!

I have read up if you have a line/evap and you dip the old test in water once it had dried .. the water will wash over and if you have an evap wash the line away. If you have a true bfp the line along with the control line will stay?

Anyway I got a very convincing pinkish evap yesterday all tests since are pretty much bfn's and I am having the lightest spotting .. I have actually found 3 tests with lines and I tried the water thing and 2 washed away and the one I thought was pink has stayed and it is thick .. A lot of people say evaps are thin?

You can't really see the lines in camera but the top 2 are almost washed away the bottom is the unsure one ..
You can see them more on the invert

I've been researching bexcuse I'm obsessed 😂 I think it it's quite flawed and unreliable so I'm going to read anything into it!

It was pink too originally but all others are bfn's and it was after the time frame so I'm calling it an awful evap for now!

My pink evap line was truly an evap as af is here! I just can't believe how convincing it looked! Definitely puts me off cheapies!

Sorry to hear... I have done the water test and been left with big pink lines that were definitely evaps after all. Hope you get your bfp soon!

I did it with my walmart cheapies lines stayed but i still have no bfp af due tomorrow

I done this test last night checked it this morning an it had this evap line I thought I would try putting a few drops of water on it an it didnt fade away idk what to think you guys help please

Still ain’t had my AF my last AF was March 28th an still nothing no symptoms of it
