Having problems posting?

Is the site having problems today? I'm having problems posting, I tried to post a new thread earlier and it just kept failing. I just tried to answer on a thread and it said

"Thank you for posting! Your post will not be visible until a moderator has approved it for posting. You will now be taken back to the forum. If you opted to post a poll, you will now be allowed to do so."

I've never had this before?...

Also I've been trying to change my avatar and it hasn't been letting me saying I need to contact admin or something, can't remember exactly but will copy & paste if you wish, thanks.

I'm having the same problem, but only in some forums!!! Says waiting for moderator but they still haven't appeared hours later!!

Not sure about your avatar problems though, might want to create a separate thread in the help and testing area about it to get more responses in regards to that issue

Avatar ... the file you are trying to upload is too big. You will need to resize this using paint or another program and try again.

That would mean your thread has not been approved.

Threads only go into moderation on banned keyword, links and swearing if a new account.
