Heart Defect and Down Syndrome (or other possible chromosomal abnormality)

sorry to hear you're finding it so hard accepting the news about your baby xx

My cousin is 29yrs with Downs Syndrome and goes to college for life skills courses, he attends football matches and loves snooker, he is so affectionate and caring etc etc etc....

It is looking very likely that my baby will be born with Downs Syndrome too, but after the experience I have had with my cousin....I don't fear it at all........

extra chromosome = extra love.

Hope your other half turns his feelings around and is ready to support you with this baby.....he helped to create this little miracle too after all........

best wishes

A few posts have been removed per the forum rules and TOS:

While BabyandBump tries to remain pro-choice on most subjects, out of respect for majority of our members that are either trying to conceive, or pregnant, we ask that you do not discuss topics on abortion and terminations outside of the 'Ethical Prenatal Losses' forum.

I am leaving this thread in place however as the OP is looking for others in the same position as her at the moment and has not made a decision.
