Bumpycat I'm with you on the sweep thing. I can't imagine myself going overdue but if I do then I will agree to be induced, but hopefully I'd like to make sure that it is misses my SIL's birthday. No child should have to share a birthday with the family favourite!
As far as I can tell an early sweep or one c.40 week seems to be a lot of discomfort for not a particularly successful result. Unless Pip is in trouble I can't see the harm in giving it a bit longer to find the exit on it's own!
Vixx - Great news that your Mum seems to be responding well. Keep us posted.
admiral - Sorry to hear that the bad news fairy keeps visiting you. Good luck for your appt. Perhaps you and your OH need some time for yourself. A walk along the coast to blow the cobwebs away and help lower the blood pressure might give you guys the space away from your troubles. Thinking of you.
Akerie -
It sounds like you had a great appointment. You also do have lots of time for the baby to move. Mine was apparently head down at 32 weeks, but I feel like we might have decided transverse is more comfy again.
Serenity - Great to hear from you. Haven't seen you in ages!
Mcsmyth1 - Sorry about the thread title. I keep singing the coca cola christmas advert after posting on here!
Hope everyone else is doing well. Braxton Hicks are really kicking my b'hind at the moment. Anyone else really suffering from painful ones?
