Realllly want to have it for dinner but not sure if it is safe as it has that cheese in it?

what cheese? and I'm sure it'll be safe, don't see why it wouldn't be.

If the cheese is pasturized then it's fine.

just a little did bit for those in the USA. It is NEAR impossible to get unpasteurized cheese. infact I almost want to say that I think someone told me that it is illegal to sell unpasteurized cheese in the US.....but that seems kinda extreme to me so I don't know if that is true.

you would pretty much have to go to a cheese farm and buy it right from the farmer. Now in places like europe it is very common to have unpasteurized cheese and I know in Canada I can find it very easily. there is noway (in my opinion) that they would put unpasteurized cheese in a prepackaged pesto.

ENJOY IT!!!

Pesto is made with parmeasen (spelled wrong) cheese. Which is a dry cheese and should be fine. I make it myself really all u have to do is make sure you really clean the basil. I also added spinach in my last batch, for some natural folic acid. Yesterday, I had it with rice cakes and cucumbers. If you have a food processor id suggest trying it. Its super easy.

Of course you can. Its made with hard cheese so its not a problem at all. x
