:hi: Hi

Wondering if anyone could help.

My period finished on the 20th, I checked my cp just as it was finishing and it was slightly open, abit low and hard, which I expected.

Two days on it is slightly higher, still quite open ( more so than last month at this stage ) and abit softer.

I have used a okp and its a very light second line so I cant be ov'ing? but las night I had ov pain on my right side.

I cant be ovulating can I?

Is the cp supposed to be open still? I thought it closed after mensturation until ov?

Thansk for the help :hugs:

Hi FL, I'll be interested to see what the ladies think about this thread as I'm almost exactly the same at the moment....

Your cervix gets soft high open and wet when u ovulate according to fertility friend but i have also heard it can vary from woman to woman OPKs are likely the best bet to give you a better idea hope that helps you.

Well when I was ovulating last it was med-high, open and wet, though I didnt notice any ewcm until about 2 days after.

But that was on cd16/17

I dont remember my cervix being like this so soon, though the ov tests say negative as it is faint, but noticable.

Yes I read that too that it would be open when oving, well incase I am me and OH bd last nigth and the night before :happydance:

One thing though I started the :witch: much later last time, almost a week and half than usual ( they are all over the place! horrible :witch: ! :hissy: )

Gosh, I have no idea:dohh: Never ceases to amaze me how much some of you ladies know about your bodies! Sure somone on here wil have the answer

i just read this

Cervical Position: Another indicator of ovulation is the position of your cervix. You can check your cervical position by gently inserting your finger into your vagina. You will want to record if it is hard to reach (high position) or easier to reach (low position). You may also want to record if it feels firm or soft. Your cervix will become more difficult to reach as you approach ovulation

so its higher when u ovulate??

Yup.

It starts off low during AF, then gradually gets higher until you O. (At which point it should be high, soft and wet). After O, it comes back down again and closes up.

However, its best to check your CP just once a day as it can have a habit of moving up and down depending on how full your bladder/bowels are.

Foreverlove, it sounds to me like your cervix is getting ready so I'd get BD'ing if I were you!! :D

Yes it higher than my low position when I ovulate, but I have never had a problem reaching my cervix  apart from when I was 38 weeks pregnant and having had a sweep ( I mesured 40 )

So its hard for me to know with out EWCM which I do get, but the last time it was a few days after the okp test said it was a positive, and of course the :witch: came.

 Oh my goodness I dont get it!!

:hissy:
