My milks just come in today and I find the breast pump much gentler than my sons mouth.
Iv expressed this morning and just now and am getting 3oz altogether from both boobs in one pump session.
Is this a normal amount or will more come in as this is only one bottle a time xx

You'll produce what you demand so the more you nurse/pump the more you make. However, you need to nurse at this point because its much more efficient than pumping and your boobs won't get use to nursing and feel better if you don't do it.

hey, why not try to continue bfeeding? for many people it takes time to learn for both mother and baby and maybe uncomfortable until you both get used to it, pumping doesn't always produce the same yields as if baby was suckling and baby suckles for comfort as well as food.
It's completely your choice.

It's too early for pumping really Hun.

I know how painful BF is at the start. But if you start pumping/bottles now you could do a lot more harm than good.

Get some Lansinoh for your nipples and just focus on you and baby for the next few weeks. X
