Ok sorry if this is tmi but I really need help tracking my AF as I came off the pill back in July and still trying to track them. I was on the pill for approximately 6 years if that helps it was Monofeme. My last AF was on the 15 of October and all AF since going of the pill were as normal of what they used to be. My periods are regular 28 days and last for 7 days. According to the Kotex AF calculator it should of happened on the 11th of November. Also according to the 28 day cycle they should of happened on the 11th of November. However if I count from the last day of my AF it should happen this week. So here I am left confused do you count from the first day or last day of AF? And if it was suppose to happen on the 11th I guess it would be considered late? My OH is also interested he asked me about them last night hehe. Were not too worried if it turns out a miracle has happened as it would be greatly welcomed but I am not getting my hopes up.
Thank you in advance.

The first day of AF is considered to be the first day of your new cycle. Use the FIRST day to calculate.

Keep in mind that many people's cycles vary by several days per cycle. Especially when having recently come off of the pill!

Thank you, but even if there is a seven day variable it is already five days late (I am in Australia so it is the 15 of Novmeber). So I am guessing I shouldn't worry for another 2-4 days? Wish I never went on the pill it messes with things

Yes, yes it does! I forget if you said you charted? I started my first cycle off the pill and it really helped me know what to expect and put my mind at ease. All you need is a basal body thermometer and the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility!

I am using a calander at the moment and I mark when I start and finish (heavy light flow ect..). I usually get AF symptons just before it starts. The first month was hard coz I got the symptons a week early but from then on I have been getting the symptons right on the day it starts or the day before. I also get ovualating symptons. So I am pretty intune. I just need to keep track and predict when the next one should arrive.

Hi, I am using a website called my monthly cycles and it's great. It tells me when I am due on and when I should ovulate. I also use the calendar on there to track all my symptoms and so you know the patterns in preparation for ttc.

Good luck x
