I'm going to malaysia for 3 weeks in august/september and they recommend you get the hep A and typhoid vaccination. I've googled and no studies have been done on it being used on pregnant and breastfeeding women but it says it should be safe. aaahhh I don't know whether to have it or not though...what would you do? has anyone had this one in pregnancy?

What does your Dr say? Hep A isn't a live virus immunisation which is why it is " recommended", typhoid vaccine can be either a live virus immunisation or a deactivated most live vaccines should be avoided during pregnancy -however if the benefit outweighs the risk. I presume this is your trip to get married - congratulations!!!!! - so not a trip you can avoid, I would speak to your Dr, have you ever had typhoid or hep A vaccine before? If so worth getting tested to see if you still have immunity?
