So i woke up at 6.30am on sunday 8th and had my bloody show in the toilet, continued to lose it throughout the morning and was getting irregular contractions, rang up at around 3pm and she casually said 'ok if you feel you want to me checked come down' ...couldve punched her!
So i got there and was 3cm dilated, 20 mins later i was 4cm and struggling to cope with the pain as contractions were coming every 2 mins in my back and tummy (he was back to back).
Was taken down to delivery suite and finally got to have some gas and air
happy days.. Much easier to cope with that!
Anyway fast forward to 8.10pm and he arrived after 5-10 mins of pushing, coped only on gas and air, had a textbook vaginal delivery, couldnt have gone any better
He weighed 7lb 1oz (5 days overdue) and is just perfect! So in love.
