HG 3rd pregnancy.... twins

I have 2 children aged 7 and 5. Both just horrendous HG in and out of hospital. I am 6w1d now and have been throwing up for a week. The nausea is just awful. Had a scan today and boom! Twins.

obviously I’m over the moon but I’m just terrified about the HG. Has anyone had singleton and twin pregnancies and the HG been worse? The same? Fine?

Congratulations! Twins are the best. I was more sick with my girls but it did not get out of hand. You could just be more prone to HG anyway but hopefully twins wont make it even worse.

Ahh thank you. Yes I think it’s inevitable I’ll have it, I really hope it gets no worse. It’s so hard to deal with everyday. I did think it had got quite bad very quickly. But it makes sense now I know there’s 2 little beans in there!

Peanut butter on toast and plain rice and apples were my best friends - those seemed to take the edge off for me. I wish you a great pregnancy and twin journey and I hope that you don't get too sick.
