Hi my name is Sue, I'm 32 years old and have been off the pill since beginning this year and we have decided to TTC - I have been doing the OPK and was ov on CD19 and have done some BD so fingers crossed!!
I have a 28DC usually is OV on d19 later than usual??

This is all new to me so any help be great.

I think, as a rule you should OV 12-16 days before your AF. Cycles are different lengths for us all and it is the pre-OV period that is variable. The post-OV is normally 14 days. Therefore in a 28 day cycle you should OV on CD14 but if your cycle is long, say 35 days you will probably OV on CD21 and likewise in short cycles of 25 days, you will probably OV on CD11. My books say it's best to BD as soon as you get fertile CM as most PG occur during those 5 days up to and including OV . Hope this helps?
