Just heard on the news about the new home testing kit that can detect the sex of the baby 6 weeks into pregnancy!

I kind of disagree as I think a lot of people will abort un wanted sexes. Sorry I might sound harsh, but it's what I think.

Don't agree with detecting that young

What do you all think?

think you might be right....

If you find out the sex it should be at 20wk scan tbh!

xxx

I think it sounds cool but I'd be inclined to say take them off the shelves for the reason you say kx!!

Designer babies! I think anyone who gets pregnant should feel priveledged to have a life growing inside them no matter what the sex!

I fully agree, its the reason why a lot of hospitals dont offer sexing scans for the fact that in some religions and races they try to abort unwanted sexes. Just look at what happens in China, where they are limited on the number children they can have due to population increase, so baby girls let left to die at the sides of roads, cause familys want boys to carry on the family name.

i think it would be nice to know teh baby sex before the 20wks scan but on the other like most of u say desinger babies will start to happen !!!

Its awful and a stupid idea.

It will start happening soon where you put an order in for what sex you want, somewhere in america will come up with a way to grow the sex you want :dohh:

its already possible to choose the sex of your baby , just not legal. im sure its been done plenty of times already though

Its soooooo wrong to mess with nature :sulk:

was under the impression that these tests have been available from the US for the last year and a half?
