how am i STILL ovulating?

i dont have a picture but i got a positive opk on wed march 25th and today is the 29th and still its positive!
the lines are exactly the same shade and everything...
i had pains last night and ive been getting a few more pains as ive been typing
not quite sure whats happening!

if you see my threads im goin thru the exact same 2day is my 8th day of positive opk, ive been reading up and it can mean either long ovulation.. or pregnancy as they can pick up both LH and hcg so only advise i can give like me is keep testin and see what happens i wil be doin another hpt in 2weeks as its to early at the moment x fingers crossed for us both xxxx

My advice would be to try an HPT, if thats BFN then keep BDing as you might have not quite got the egg out yet! Good luck! xx

Maybe it is possible that your body is releasing more than one egg this cycle?

nope this is the first time! i did opks last month but i ran out of tests and i was on holiday so i couldnt get anymore
i dont get anything else that could hint towards pcos though, god i hope its not! now im scared!

i didnt test yesterday but im going to get my fiance to get some more on his way home from work

I agree with the others. you can have a positive for up to 6 days, if you have one for longer than that (like i did) then its a sign of either PCOS (I have that) or pregnancy!

I dont think you ovulate or release 2 eggs at a time. its only in rare occassions. But anyway, I do hope you are pregnant ang if the pain still persists, see your doctor immediately. But it might as well be also a sign of PCOS.

it wasnt so much pain as just tension, and i think i may have been slightly gasey lol tmi!

when i was using answer opk's they would stay positive from CD 13 till ??? i would run out (20 sticks later!) and they would still be positive! no pcos here though. i would suggest buying a different brand. some are too sensitive for some people. good luck.

ive run out of tests aswell and i cant find them in the shop so that stops me getting a poas addiction
