I'm still really new to these boards. I'm 35 and had an ectopic pregnancy back in April 2009. After that we took about 3 years off TTC and have had no luck since then. I've kind of been in denial and haven't gotten myself checked out very well. Just had my HSG test done last month and found out likely scar tissue is blocking my remaining tube so my best success would be with IVF. I'm open to it but given the cost and huge emotional battle it's likely to bring it seems like a very daunting thing to go through.
How did all of you get over that? Just keep your eye on the potential end result?
Anyway I'd love some tips or buddies going through with the struggle to figure out if IVF is for them. I'm also very open to adoption so also researching if that would be better for us as well.
