How do I know if my cervical mucus is good?

Aloha everyone! How do I know if my cervical mucus is the way its supposed to be? Quite frankly, the only cervical mucus I've ever seen was mine... how can I be sure?

After my period I can notice that there is a mucus there and then all of a sudden I'll get that think discharge that is very elastic, but I wouldn't call it egg whites, looks more like a runny bugger (sorry, TMI, I know), but it's not like it stays like that for a while.. I just get that 1 discharge and that's it.... Unless what they refer to as egg whites is the mucus before and after that discharge happens?

Can anyone help? Is there a site that i can see what its supposed to look like and when?

Also, just FYI, I have a condition that causes dryness in my vagina, skin, hair, mouth etc... nothing too severe dough, but I can definitely notice it.

When I first stated TTC, I googled pictures of the different kinda of CM. Kind of gross, but I'm a visual person and needed to see what they all looked like.
