Hey ladies, how are you?
Where is everyone at in your cycle?


It's really quite here :sad:

I've been a little bummed about my us results so have been trying to stay distracted and busy.

I'm headed in for an IUI tomorrow (cd15) but I'm worrying about the timing of things. I was supposed to trigger tonight if I didn't have a positive opk test by this afternoon. This morning I had a positive test so I called to reschedule the IUI for tomorrow. I decided to take another test this afternoon just to be sure, but it was negative! I talked with my fs and she said to take the ovidrel shot ASAP and come in tomorrow. So we will see.

The same thing happened last month - positive test, followed by a negative, followed by a positive the next morning. My fs recommended scheduling the last IUI 24hrs after the second positive test. That didn't work so I guess I'm glad we are trying something different this time... who would've thought this opk business would be so confusing?!

Well I'm 9dpiui, and I'm itching to test and can't!! Ugh dh basically held me down so i don't buy one at the store.
My left boob is a little sore but could be the progesterone cream. Just wish i knew when to stop taking the cream.

Iui went ok. Hurt more this time which I read can be a sign that the timing was off so who knows. Trying not to think about it too much. BD this morning just in case since its been about 36 hours since I took the trigger shot. Let the 2ww begin!

I know it is so hard to hold off testing, but you can do it!!! Just a couple of days left so hang in there! What did your doc say about stopping the progesterone? I've never taken it.

Doc doesn't know about the natural progesterone. I bought it at a natural health food store.. So now I'm in limbo. Lol

I think you are right, we are definitely the only ones here! I hope everyone else is ok, too.

What I read made it sound like if it hurt then the cervix wasn't open ... but hopefully I just got the in there a little before they needed to be?! or, I'm just reading too much into it which is entirely possible... someone told me their friend got their BFP on the only IUI that hurt so who knows! haha

I would just ask my doc when would she typically have people stop progesterone (prescription form) and go with that. Don't you think??

How many more days do you think you'll hold off until you test? I'm absolutely waiting until AF is due. I'm oddly at peace right now and am finding the 2ww much easier this time. I know it's early so I'm sure I'll be singing a different tune in a few days haha!

I tested yesterday with the little bit if pee i had, and i mean i had to wait to pee lol, mind over matter.
And got a bfn, so i think I'm out but need to make sure in order too stop the progesterone.
I always always get anxious a couple days before af is due to arrive. Drives me crazy.!!

I wonder where they all went!

Yes. It always helps my sanity to have someone who sounds like they had the same experience! haha. How many dpo are you? Don't you have a few before you are 15dpo?

I'm sure next week I'll be getting VERY anxious to poas. I told my hubby that I was absolutely not testing until 2 weeks after the IUI so he shouldn't pester me. He's been much better this time, too. Last time he was asking me EVERY day so I'm glad he got the message. I'm also nervous because this is the first time I've used a trigger shot and I'm not testing it out of my system so I think if I do get a bfp, I'll worry if it's real! Always something to worry about, right?!

I'm 14 dpo and 12 dpiui..I'm supposed to start af between today till Friday.. i never know. My boobs are killing me. They never do with af, so I'm thinking the progesterone is helping that. I tested yesterday and bfn, so now to wait out af

I think waiting 14 days is safe and if you get a bfp i think you can say it's a true one.

Here's my dilemma, lol if i stop the progesterone and i am pg, i can cause a m/c because the drop in hormones. If i continue and I'm not pregnant I'm not sure when af will be here. I have 28 day cycles, but last cycle was 26.
I'm thinking Sunday if af didn't come, I'll test. I usually cramp at night before she shows, i feel alittle weird but not like period achy. So I'm not getting hopeful. Just waiting and waiting. Maybe I'll test with you on Friday.

Yes that is a dilemma!!! I think your plan sounds good.

So far I haven't really noticed anything too exciting but I'm not expecting much since the iui was only 4 days ago! I know I said I was feeling relaxed, but time seems to be going really really slow!!

So af showed up this morning.. Counting 14 days back, we did iui "perfectly"... So i think I'm done, ive tried about everything from natural remedies, to fertility meds, and iui. Don't want ivf, so i guess its time to accept that i may be counting 2 years and 6 months ttc and may continue counting for awhile.
Such a bummer, but when I've tried about everything, it just sucks to keep getting bfn after bfn..

Stupid af! I know how frustrating it can feel to try everything and still fail to get your BFP. I'm so sorry that this cycle turned out this way for you! Is there anything you can do differently with the IUI's? Different meds to get more follicles/eggs so the have more targets? In the end you have to do what feels right. It's such a tough decision to make!

Sorry I've been MIA. I have been avoiding ALL things related to TTC. I am looking at making a tough choice- I think I may cancel my appointment with the specialist and quit. Maybe I need to be happy my other kids are getting older and we can travel. I can start toning up my body and lose that extra 10 pounds I really don't need. I can LIVE rather than cry and shoot myself up with hormones. I don't know.

Sorry for being a bad friend- I just haven't had the energy or desire to pee on sticks or TRY. I've spent the last couple weeks just enjoying my life and my family.... It's not so bad.

Good for you Laurana for taking a break from all this ttc stuff! It must've felt good to just go and live life without stressing so much what's going on inside your uterus.

It sounds like you and wantjust1more are at the same point in your journey's. You definitely have to do what's best for you and your family.
