And now for my rant.... Ill try to keep it short.

I need a new dr. I am soooooo frustrated with mine. I can't get straight answers when I call the office and I don't ask all that many questions- it's simple but important things. Like my pills say "take for 7 days CD 10-14" but 10-14 is 5 days. Do I take it for 7 days or CD 10-14? THIS IS IMPORTANT- I SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET A FECKING ANSWER!

And I decided on another round of Clomid/IUI this month- but there was a big scheduling thing and they told me that I either had to leave work RIGHT THEN or skip the month because she had such a full schedule. So I end up getting the ultrasound and the dr explains her understanding of my busy schedules by explaining how her au pair has issues too and had to switch schools to accommodate her work schedule. So wait a minute- my full time job and family is being compared to some kid that babysits for my dr and is switching colleges to accommodate my dr's babysitting needs?!? :saywhat:

Waiting on a call back from the place that did my IUI- they are a fancy schmancy high tech IVF center. The doc I saw there seemed great. I'm going there from now on. Ill find a new Ob/gyn for general care.

Rant over.

That is frustrating!!!! I don't blame you for looking for a new doctor. When I started doing IUI's, my ob referred me to a fertility specialist. And I love her! She e-mailed me back within just a few hours this past weekend and answered every single question personally! I don't know if she was on call this weekend (my clinic is open 7 days a week) or if she just checks in even on her off days. Wouldn't surprise me if she was just checking in. Perhaps it helps that she suffers (suffered?) from infertility too. So she get's it.

I hope you hear back from the doc you saw at the IVF center soon!!!

Heard back and all scheduled for my first appointment - CD 2 of next month. Now I need to decide if I use meds this month or just skip it. I'm so happy to be switching... Was shocked to hear the new patient paperwork is 18 pages! Never had to fill out that much before. But hopefully just means they are very thorough :)

I'm SO happy for you!! Glad you are finally getting things squared away. Doesn't it make you feel good, because sometimes I feel like we (me) are being pushed aside because of our (my) fertility problems and It really makes me feel sad.

But i'm so happy :happydance: that you are getting this all worked out!

Hey Ladies...I totally feel ya. I think its just as time goes on & cycles go on you might become less obsessed. I'm on Cycle #18 (ya very long) & while I'm anxious to know I don't google symptoms and crap anymore like I used to.
I hope none of you have to wait as long as I have but anyway thought I'd just say....time will go on & you'll be less obsessed :)

Welcome!! we all know how you feel, I need to stop googling everything, it starts to drive me crazy! I think you're right about not doing it anymore, this cycle (knock on wood) I haven't done it this cycle (yet)...

Just want to relax this cycle.. :p

I'm probably going to ovulate today or tomorrow, test was really getting dark.. But can't do iui because husband is getting surgery.
So a break for us, which is fine because i would rather be mellow..

Mellow is always good. Will you just bd instead then? Hope your hubby's surgery goes well!

SO DH went into surgery and he's doing really well, and seems to still want to have :sex: we do but really really gentle. :haha: So We will see i had a VERY positive opk and today is ovulation day and i'll call the doctor for iui tomorrow maybe. see what he wants to do.. I don't know the the natural remedies seem to be making me really calm and tired.

So Will see how everything goes, how are you doing?
:flower:

Good to hear your hubby's surgery went well! And that you were able to get some good timed bding in!! What did the doc say about the iui? Calm is always good!

Nothing too exciting going on here! Af almost gone and one day of the letrozole left. Noticing some twinges near ovaries so hopefully things are growing well!

How's everyone else today?

As he was letting me look at the babys/spermies under the microscope he whispered "now go get pregnant" He's determined so that makes me feel better, he said everything looked really good, and this time he let my cervix close a bit before pulling the tube out. i feel like my body absorbed all the :spermy: because usually like the last iui i had long stringy stuff the day after, and nothing today. So will see.

I ovulated early with the letrozole cycle day 10 ( this was last cycle), i don 't know if it's everyone but just want you to "watch" for sign :winkwink:

Hello ladies! Glad to see everyone is doing well. I've been rather relaxed and trying not to worry too much so far. Supportive hubby and knowing ill be seeing an amazing specialist soon helps. Today is CD 6, Flo is gone and we will be enjoying our weekend.

Glad the surgery went well and IUI as well.

All the baby dust in the world to you all!!!!!:hugs:

I feel really agitated today ladies :( but worked out, and nothings changed.. Just moody.

But ready for a relaxing evening :)

Yay! That sounds great. Fx this is it!!!

I had a weird situation with opk's last cycle with the letrozole. After my cd11 scan we decided to let my follicles grow a bit bigger and trigger in a few days if I hadn't had a positive opk test. I had a + in the PM of cd12, re-tested it about 3hrs later and it was -. Took one the next morning (cd13) and it was + again. When I talked to my fs about it she said sometimes we have a "mini surge" and then later is the real LH surge so we timed the IUI after the second + test. This time, if things look good enough at my cd11 scan I'll just trigger that night to avoid the confusion. So, hopefully I don't ovulate before my scan on Tuesday!!

Your body must be enjoying the cycle off the drugs! I'm happy you are so relaxed. Have a good and relaxing weekend!

Well ladies I made it home after an amazing week with hubby and the kids. I of course rushed home to POAS and thought my exhausted eyes played tricks on me...It's positive. I'm scared shitless.... My hubby and I have never had a problem getting pregnant (except for the last 15 months), they just never seem to stick. My last mc was diagnosed at 11 weeks and occurred at 13.5.
Please wish me luck ladies. You are the only ones I've told other than my DH. Assuming all goes well I have become the hated pregnant lady. I wish you all the best of luck in your journeys. I refuse to acknowledge that I may very shortly be in the TWW again however very much a nagging truthful reality.

Yay! That's amazing news for you!!! I sure hope this is a sticky one! Fx this bean is here to stay!

How is everyone else doing today?

AFM AF is gone as of yesterday. I'm on CD8 today and felt a little nauseous before lunch and have some cramping going on. I hope that means my follies are growing nice and big!!! I am very anxious for my us on Tuesday and I've been trying to keep busy and distracted working on our house this weekend.

Have a good weekend all!

you have officially started the BFP trend!!! who's next?? congrats to you!!! So happy keep us updated with everything please :happydance::hugs:

OKAY LADIES!!! THE BFP TREND HAS STARTED !!!

WHO'S NEXT??

We got this in the bag ladies!

Today i don't know exactly how many dpo i'm on?!? sounds weird I know.

last cycle
positive OPK- CD 10
IUI on- CD 11
Long stringy mucus- CD 12 ( started AF exactly 14 from this day)

SO!!

THIS CYCLE
Positive OPK- CD 11
IUI on- CD 13

So since it seems I have ovulation day 2 days after a positive opk when should I start counting 1 dpo? I was thinking Friday Aug 23rd.

I really hope we got IUI in there this time at the "right" time!!

I'm not feeling ANY symptoms and i'm so confused-- i'm thinking it's the progesterone cream

How are you ladies doing?? What are you all up to?
I am going to start walking, running or teaching dance fitness again, it helped get my mind off EVERYTHING. :happydance:

I hope we all follow this cycle with a BFP!! Although I'm not feeling too optimistic. I'm very interested to see what my us shows on Tuesday. I think I am having less cramping than last month so I am worried that things aren't growing as well as last time!

If I were you, I'd probably say the day after your IUI was 1dpo. It sure sounds like you got the right timing of things this month. How have you been feeling?? Have you noticed any symptoms yet?

That's a good idea to do the walking, etc. I've been really bad about exercising!! Every since my fs told me to gain 5 pounds I've used that as an excuse! But I feel pretty gross so I think I might just take the dog for a walk after work each day just to get a little bit in.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

Well my gut feeling was right. Things definitely aren't growing as well as last time. I am so frustrated!!!! I feel out already.

This time I had 2 follicles both about 15ish (one on each side). Lining was 8.5. Last time I had 2 follicles about 19ish and 1 follicle about 16ish (1 on one side, 2 on the other). I don't remember what my lining was, but remember being told it was good.

Tentatively scheduled for IUI on Sunday morning but may be earlier depending on opks the next couple of days. The icing on the cake is my parents will be here this weekend and they don't know a thing about our fertility issues. Any suggestions on how to break the news to them??? Every time I try telling anyone, I can't help but cry and I know it will be 10x worse telling my mom!!

Hope you're all doing well! Off to work I go...

Hey ladies, how are you?
Where is everyone at in your cycle?

It's really quite here
