How long are you planning to take mat leave for?

I'm in America so I go back when baby is 6 weeks but as a teacher means i am missing only two weeks of work

Wow! Wish I lived somewhere else...I'm in the US. I'm luckier than most women here as I'll be able to take 12 weeks at full pay (I currently have about 4.5 months of paid leave and will accrue more over the next 6 months, but FMLA only allows 12 weeks with your job guaranteed).
