How long did it take to get your BPF after your loss?

i MC'd 5th of jan and am pregnant again, although spotting

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much it hurts.

I mc at 10 wks on 10 December, first AF 2 Jan, and BFP on 30 Jan.

Last time I mc at end Aug, got first AF in Oct and didn't get pregnant until March the following year.

oh ladies, congratulations! wishing you both healthy and happy 9 months! you both deserve it!

I actually cried when i saw how quickly you got your BFP, it gives so much hope. i dont expect the get mine this month, even though we went all out and i did ovulate, but i just want to know its going to happen, i just need some hope, so thank you sooooooooo much ladies. congrats xxx

Eternal, just wanted to add as I knew we had no problems in conceiving I used the Sperm Meets Egg Plan this month. It was tiring but well worth it!

Also, it showed me I ov on CD14 of a 32 day cycle with a 19 day LP. If I had just relied on dates rather than testing from CD10 I would have missed my fertile period, which is what I must have done when I was TTC after my first loss.

I had less luck then the above ladies when trying to conceive again after my miscarriage. Don't know if it was stress or my messed up body but it took nearly 6 months for me to get another BFP. It was very disheartening as we had gotten pregnant the first time we tried and I assumed that it would be just as easy the second time. My doctor did advise me to wait 3 months before trying again, just to let everything settle down but we didn't. Ended up having to wait 5 months anyway.....

As I had an erpc (d&c) I waited for one period then felt very lucky as I caught the next cycle. I'm sorry for your kiss and I hope you have a successful pregnancy soon. Xx

I mc Dec 09 at 7-8 weeks - didn't try the first couple of cycles ( although have counted them in my "months to get pregnant" - we actively tried for 3 cycles and got pregnant on the 3rd - found out May 2010 and Ollie is asleep in his moses basket next to me

I had a mmc at the end of July when I was 10w, and i was pregnant again after 3 cycles. (I waited for 1 cycle, then tried for a baby)

Sorry for your loss, we posted on some of the same threads in first tri, I had no idea you'd had a mmc, my heart goes out to you x
After three of our losses we got pg straight away, to get preg with this one took a bit longer (selling flat, moving house etc all probably had something to do with that!) it took 6 months but it's worth it for a sticky bean! Hope you get your baby soon!
PS Is your DH scottish by any chance, that looks rather like a kilt jacket in your pic!?!

we waited about a year and 2 months before we started trying again after the miscarriage, but I answered "0-3" because it took 3 cycles once we started to try again. Good luck!

Most about a few months one time it took 6 months. Who knows how long right now it will take.

i tried 2 yrs during my marriage, never happened.. (had all the tests done) but after my divorce. it took 4 months with the guy i'm with now..

heya,

I took me a good 6 months to get pregnant after my mmc operation.

I didn't try the first month but did once the bleeding etc settled down and my body was back to normal again.

I hope it happens for you soon too and I know how impatient I felt to be pregnant again, but just think each month you go without a positive test is a month closer to getting your BFP!

I found visualising the process and imagining myself being pregnant really helped keep me focused on why i was putting myself through this, and that it would all be worth it in the end.

congrats. yeah i lost my baby at 11 weeks, i think i remember you too ... hi again. Im doing ok, but just looking for some inspritaion.
yes he is scottish, i lived in scotland until sept when we moved to wales (im welsh) my son was born in scotland too! he is from montrose

I'm from just down the road from Montrose originally, was brought up just outside Dundee. My parents have recently moved back up there, nice part of the world!

I hope you get your sticky bean. My friend had a mmc at 11 wks when I was 6wks, it's so horrible. Fx for you!
